Inden〈Deerskin + Urushi Lacquer〉 | Long Wallet with Wide Coin Compartment | Magical
Inden〈Deerskin + Urushi Lacquer〉 | Long Wallet with Wide Coin Compartment | Magical
Inden is a traditional Japanese craft in which deerskin is decorated with Urushi lacquer.
The lacquer creates a delicate raised texture on the soft yet durable leather.
With use, the leather becomes more supple and develops a distinctive luster and patina.
YASIMA reinterprets this technique beyond traditional Japanese conventions, introducing patterns inspired by textiles from around the world.
Pastel, gold, and silver lacquer tones give each piece a distinctly contemporary character.
Fully wrapped in Inden leather, this long wallet features an extra-wide coin compartment.
Release the snap and the compartment opens broadly, making coins easy to see and retrieve.

お取り扱いについて
This product is made from deerskin.
Please note that uneven coloring and small scratches may be present, as these are inherent characteristics of natural materials.
In addition, a thin anti-stain treatment has been applied to the leather after the urushi lacquer, but for leathers other than black, please be especially careful of dirt and color transfer.
Urushi lacquer also has a tendency to crack under a certain amount of pressure. Furthermore, corners of the product are particularly prone to cracking.
Although this is a delicate product, we hope you will enjoy the aging process of the natural leather and urushi lacquer.
